The ViewSonic VG2456a monitor has a built-in docking station that allows you to connect it to a secondary display via daisy chain. This provides power to your laptop via a single USB-C cable, while also providing extended display functionality to both monitors. Follow the diagram below to daisy chain the Viewsonic VG2456a to the Viewsonic VG2455.

Setup Instructions
1. Connect the supplied power cables into both monitors and ensure they are powered on.
2. Connect your laptop charger to the primary USB-C port on your laptop. (Green)
3. Using the supplied DisplayPort cable, connect from the DP-Out port on the VG2456a, to the DP-in on the VG2455. (Red)
4. Using the supplied USB-C cable, connect from the Type-C port on the VG2456a, to the secondary USB-C port on your laptop. (Blue)
5. Using the supplied USB-A to USB-B cable, connect from the USB-B port on the VG2456a, to the USB-A port on the VG2455. (Yellow)
6. If applicable, insert the Logitech Unifying Receiver for your wireless keyboard & mouse into the USB-A port located on the left side of the VG2456a. (Purple)
7. Insert any additional USB-A peripherals into the USB-A ports on the left side of each monitor.
7. You should now see display on both monitors! 🎉
*Follow the instructions below to set your monitors to 'extend' displays (instead of 'duplicate') & to arrange in the proper layout*
Set your monitors to 'extend' rather than 'duplicate' & arrange in the proper layout
1. Right-click on your desktop and select "Display settings" from the popup menu. In the nav panel on the left, select "Display". At the top of the page, your available monitors will appear as numbered boxes. Each box represents a monitor (e.g., box "1" corresponds with the left monitor and box "2" corresponds with the right monitor).
2. Click 'Identity' to determine the number corresponding (1,2,3) with each monitor.
3. Click and drag the monitors to arrange them to match how they arranged in your home setup.
4. Within the dropdown, select 'Extend these displays'
5. Click 'Apply' at the bottom.
6. Click the numbered box you wish to be your main display.
7. Scroll to the bottom and check the box that says, "Make this my main display". The other monitor will automatically become the secondary display.
8. Click the "X" in the top right corner to close the page.
