Follow the guide below to re-enable or re-install the Zoom for Outlook Plugin within the Outlook desktop app on both Windows & Mac devices. Please scroll down to the bottom of the page for Mac instructions.
Windows - Outlook Desktop App
1. Within the desktop app, select 'File' in the upper left-hand corner:
2. Within File, select 'Options':
3. Select 'Add-ins' on the left side, then select 'Go' to the right of Manage: COM Add-ins:
4. Once the COM Add-in list loads, you should see the Zoom Outlook Plugin unchecked, select the checkbox to enable it:
**If you do not see the Zoom Outlook Plugin listed, please follow the steps below, otherwise proceed to step 5**
A. Locate the icon titled 'Self Service' on your Desktop and launch it:
B. Within the list of Self Service software, locate the Zoom Outlook Plugin and select 'Update': C. Once the install has finished, close Outlook completely and relaunch it, then start back at Step 1.
5. Once the checkbox is selected, select 'OK':
6. Navigate to your calendar on the left-hand side, and then select 'New Appointment':
7. Select 'Settings' in the top ribbon:
8. Once the settings panel launches, make sure to select 'SSO' from the sign in options:
9. Type payscale (all lowercase) into the URL field and then select 'Continue':
10. This will redirect to Okta to complete sign-in, if prompted enter your Okta username and password:
11. You should now be signed into the Zoom for Outlook Plugin, and the option to add a Zoom Meeting should be displayed within your Outlook meeting window panel! 🎉
Mac - Outlook Desktop App
1. Within the desktop app, select the three-dot ellipsis and select 'Get Add-ins':
2. Search for the Zoom for Outlook Extension, and then select 'Add':
3. When prompted for the License terms and Privacy policy, select 'Continue':
4. Navigate to your calendar, and select 'New Event':
5. Select the Zoom icon from the top ribbon, and then select 'Settings':
6. Once the settings panel launches, make sure to select 'SSO' from the sign in options:
7. Type payscale (all lowercase) into the URL field and then select 'Continue':
8. This will redirect to Okta to complete sign-in, if prompted enter your Okta username and password:
9. You should now be signed into the Zoom for Outlook Plugin, and the option to add a Zoom Meeting should be displayed in the Zoom ribbon dropdown shown below! 🎉
